    What happens on the day

    Lots of adults have thought about straightening their teeth for years and never quite had the chance to ask. Our open day is a relaxed morning set aside for exactly that. Your appointment includes:

    • A one-on-one chat with one of our dentists about what you'd like to change
    • A 3D digital scan of your teeth, with no goopy impressions
    • Any X-rays and photos the dentist needs to check whether aligners are suitable
    • A digital simulation of how your teeth could move with treatment (results vary from person to person)
    • A verbal and written estimate and timeline if aligners suit you
    • Interest-free payment plans are available. Ask us about the options that are right for you.
    • Tea or coffee while you settle in

    Is it right for me?

    Clear aligners may suit you if you have:

    • Crowded or overlapping teeth
    • Gaps between your teeth
    • Some types of overbite, underbite or crossbite
    • Teeth that have moved since you had braces as a teenager

    They aren't right for everyone. Some bites are better treated with braces or another approach, and we'll tell you honestly if that's the case.

    The open day is for adults and teenagers. Anyone under 18 needs a parent or guardian with them. You don't need to be an Innova patient already.

    We talk about your goals, check your teeth and gums, and take a 3D scan, X-rays and photos.

    Aligners are worn most of the day and night, typically 20 to 22 hours, and come out to eat, drink and brush.

    Keeping the result
    When active treatment finishes you'll wear a retainer to help keep your teeth in their new position. Treatment time depends on how much movement is needed.

    Most people feel some pressure for a day or two when they start a new set of aligners. This usually settles quickly.

    Our orthodontic dentists are accredited with Invisalign and Angel Aligners clear aligner system.

    Your dentist will recommend the clear aligner system that suits your teeth, your bite and your goals, and discuss any alternatives with you. The system, timeline and cost are all set out in your treatment plan before you decide.

    Yes. The open day is open to all - new and existing patients. Under-18s need a parent or guardian with them.

Available only to those who attend the open day on 21 November 2026 and are assessed by an Innova Dental dentist as suitable for clear aligner treatment.     • Any invasive procedure carries risks. Before proceeding, you may wish to seek a second opinion from an appropriately qualified AHPRA registered health practitioner. Individual results vary from patient to patient.
